Publication gate: the full Swiss business address, legal form or register details, hosting provider, email provider, and their retention or transfer details were not included in the supplied source material. Those facts must be completed and checked before this notice is published.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for this website is De.Coded, Switzerland.

De.Coded

Switzerland

Email: hello@decodedai.co

The complete provider identity — operator, legal form and business address — will be published in the Legal notice once completed.

2. What this website currently does

The current website is a static information site. It does not contain online checkout, user accounts, advertising trackers, analytics, third-party embeds, or a server-side contact form.

Website access and security logs

When this site is placed on a web host, the hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser or device information, and security events. This can be necessary to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose faults, and prevent misuse. The provider, hosting location, exact log fields, and retention period must be confirmed before publication.

Email enquiries

The contact links open your own email application. If you choose to send an email, De.Coded receives the address you use, your message, and any information or attachments you include. Your email provider and De.Coded’s email provider will also process the message under their own terms.

Updates list (on request)

If you ask by email to join the De.Coded updates list, De.Coded stores your email address and name for the purpose of sending occasional updates about De.Coded’s services and practical AI topics, until you unsubscribe. The request is made by an email you send yourself; this website itself collects nothing. Providing these details is voluntary; without an email address, updates simply cannot be sent, and nothing else depends on joining. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any update or writing to hello@decodedai.co, and your address is then removed from the list.

Ask De.Coded chat

The website chat runs locally in your browser. On the published website it does not transmit, store, or log what you type; the conversation exists only in the open page and is gone when the page is closed. (Local development builds on De.Coded’s own machine may route unanswered questions to a test engine on that same machine; this path is technically inert on the published website.) If you choose the email handoff, your question is placed into a draft in your email application; it is not sent until you decide to send it.

Information you should not send

Please do not include passwords, payment-card data, health information, government identifiers, trade secrets, or unnecessary third-party personal data in an initial enquiry.

3. Why information is used

De.Coded processes personal data only for defined purposes and in a proportionate way. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, the corresponding legal bases are:

  • to deliver and protect the website: legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure business website;
  • to answer an enquiry or take steps you request before a contract: steps before entering a contract and legitimate interests in business communication;
  • to perform an agreed service: performance of a contract;
  • to meet accounting, tax, legal, or regulatory duties: compliance with a legal obligation;
  • to send updates you have asked to receive: your consent, given by your own request email and withdrawable at any time with effect for the future;
  • for an optional technology introduced later: consent, where consent is the appropriate basis.

Under Swiss data-protection law, De.Coded also follows the principles of lawfulness, good faith, transparency, purpose limitation, proportionality, accuracy, and appropriate security.

4. Who may receive information

Personal data may be made available only where needed to Karen Hueter, professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and providers that support hosting, email, security, or contracted service delivery. Providers must be selected and contractually governed before they process personal data for De.Coded. Personal data may also be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

De.Coded does not sell personal data. It does not disclose personal data for third-party behavioural advertising.

5. International transfers

De.Coded is based in Switzerland. A provider may process data in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, or another country. Before publication, each actual provider and processing location must be recorded here.

Where data is transferred to a country without a recognised adequate level of protection, De.Coded will use an applicable safeguard such as approved standard contractual clauses and assess whether supplementary measures are needed. A copy or summary of the relevant safeguard can be requested through the contact address above, subject to necessary redactions.

6. How long information is kept

  • Chat text: not retained by the website.
  • Enquiry correspondence: kept only while needed to answer the enquiry, manage a prospective or active business relationship, protect legal claims, and meet applicable record-keeping duties.
  • Contract and accounting records: kept for the period required by applicable Swiss law.
  • Hosting and security logs: kept for the shortest period needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention; the exact provider period must be confirmed before publication.

7. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may ask whether personal data about you is being processed and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

To exercise a right, email hello@decodedai.co. De.Coded may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

You may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. If the GDPR applies to your situation, you may also complain to the competent supervisory authority in the EU or EEA country connected with the processing.

8. Security and automated decisions

De.Coded applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the processing. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This website does not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Ask De.Coded is identified as an automated product guide and provides general service information only.

9. Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated when the website’s providers, features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

This staged notice is designed for the current website behaviour and for Swiss FADP transparency, with additional GDPR information where EU law applies. It is not a substitute for advice on De.Coded’s final entity, providers, contracts, or target markets.
